Paul Bosher
Author & Poet
I enjoy my work, I enjoy writing more.
So after thirty years in corporate life I wrote a dystopian novel about what happens when marketing executives rebuild civilisation. It feels strangely familiar.
Brand New Tomorrow
The world ended on a Tuesday.
By Wednesday, Dale had a brand strategy.

When an electromagnetic pulse collapses civilisation, a group of marketing executives find themselves among the last survivors.

Their leader, Dale, is charismatic, relentless and terrifyingly competent. He begins building a new society from the ruins of a shopping mall, complete with loyalty points, a hierarchy of belief quantified in spreadsheets and a mission statement for the apocalypse.

The narrator watches, records and writes the copy. He tells himself he's only translating.

He's not sure that was ever true.
